The cottage we stayed in was beautifully updated while still maintaining its Old Florida charm. The grounds were a tropical oasis with a pool, fishing spots, and even free use of kayaks. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Best aspects: Clean and updated cottage, tropical grounds with pool and free kayaks, friendly staff.
Our room was a bit on the small side for the price we paid. It would have been worth it to upgrade to a larger room.

Great location with easy access to both the southern and northern destinations in the Keys. Helpful tip: Look out for the mile markers on the roadside to track your distance. Comfortable rooms with a good-sized bathroom and amenities like a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. Beautiful jetty area overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, perfect for enjoying a gorgeous sunset.
Lack of soundproofing in the rooms, making it easy to hear noise from outside or neighboring units. The mini fridge and microwave were also noisy, affecting sleep quality.

I recently stayed at a small and cozy hotel on the Gulf side of Key Largo for one night. The location was perfect, with a beautiful sunset view from the property. The room was small but comfortable, and most importantly, quiet for a good night's sleep. The hotel had a lovely pier to walk out over the water, plenty of seating options, and a friendly staff. I also enjoyed the homemade scones and delicious breakfast options. The foliage around the property added to its charm, and I can't wait to return for a longer stay.
Can recommend this hotel.
